Zemen Bank Announces Increase in Deposit Interest Rates to a level of 4.5 to 5.0 percent

July 1, 2010. Zemen Bank today announces that its minimum interest rate for savings deposits has been raised to 4.5 percent effective July 1, 2010. This new interest rate applies to all savings account holders who maintain a minimum balance of Birr 25,000. Zemen Bank’s increased interest rate of 4.5 percent compares with an average rate of 4.0 percent provided elsewhere.
